THE INTERNET WAS lit up earlier this week when Twitter user Becca McGonigle found a handy dupe for Mac's much sough after ‘Velvet Teddy'.

Some websites reported that Penneys stocked ‘Golden Rose: no 74′ which is nearly the exact same shade as ‘Velvet Teddy'. Penneys told us that the brand Golden Rose isn't part of their ‘P.S.' range.
Heartbroken.
Never fear though as we have a list of other dupes that are available around the place if you need a cheaper version of ‘Velvet Teddy' because let's face it, make up is expensive and sometimes dupes are just better for all involved.

Adobe reader 64 bit mac catalina. I love MAC Lipstick and few of my favorites are Cosmo, Velvet Teddy, Brave and Diva.
I always buy my MAC Lipstick from the store however, this one time I saw someone selling it on instagram and it is like 20% off so I got really excited and ordered one.

I opened the plastic and to my dismay, the one I got is fake! Sooo I contacted the seller and told her that it was fake and sent her pictures of the real one and blah blah. in the end refunded my money.
So this post is to share some tips to know if the MAC Lipstick is authentic or fake.

Mac Lipstick Malaysia
Above, you will see that the fake MAC Lipstick barrel is wider and a little bit longer than the real one. The MAC logo of the fake one is just like stamped on the barrel unlike the logo on the authentic MAC Lipstick.
If you will touch the word MAC on your original MAC Lipstick, you will feel that it is kinda engraved.
Please look at the above photo. If you have eyes for details, you will see the the MAC word of the Authentic MAC does not have sharp edges unlike the fake one.
Also, the quality of the barrel of the fake one looks really cheap and the silver part is fading. That little circle to hold the cap of the barrel is also different.
Obviously, the one who manufacturer or made the fake MAC lippies doesn't even bother putting the sticker in the center.
